Position Overview:
Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) Optometrist to join our Riverfront Medical Center eye care team in Spokane, Washington.
All applicants must possess a full range of clinical skills and an interest in working with an innovative group practice.
- This position is 100% outpatient.
- No call.
- AI Scribing & Summarization support to cut down charting time by half.
- In our integrated health care model our clinicians have instant access to dozens of specialties, which allows for a level of collaboration and comprehensive treatment your patients deserve.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $154,886 to $182,219 salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience.)
- Value Based Incentives: Annual bonus based on organizational goals and quality metrics
- Generous Employer Retirement Contributions: Upon eligibility WPMG will contribute 11% of your base salary to your 401(K) with additional employee contributions being optional

Education
Optometry or better.
Licenses & Certifications
DEA License
WA Medical License
Experience
All applicants must possess a full range of clinical skills and an interest in working with an innovative group practice.
The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited School of Optometry and preferably have completed a one year OD Residency program.
2 years: Minimum two years of clinical experience is preferred, and history of chronic disease management.
