Description
Position Title: Outpatient Occupational Therapist
Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States
Department: Outpatient Clinics
Outpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) | Part-Time Potential Full-Time | 5632 Edwards Ranch Rd Fort Worth, TX 76109
At Fort Worth Physical Therapy, we believe that compassionate, evidence-based care transforms lives. As an OT in our outpatient clinic, you won't just treat symptoms, you'll partner with patients to help them regain independence, restore function, and reach their goals.
We are looking for a dedicated OT who enjoys working with both neuro and orthopedic populations, and who is open to growing into a full-time role as demands increase. You'll be supported by a clinician-led team, ongoing mentorship, and clear paths for growth.
Your Role:
As part of our outpatient therapy team, you will:
- Evaluate and treat neuro and orthopedic patients across the adult population
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans to maximize function, mobility, and quality of life
- Use advanced modalities, therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and adaptive equipment
- Collaborate with PTs, hand therapists, physicians, and other providers to coordinate care
- Document in EMR (e.g. Raintree or system used) and track outcomes
- Maintain a caseload consistent with expectations (with built-in admin / planning time)
- Participate in continuing education and team initiatives to drive evidence-based practice
Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy (OT) program
- Active or eligible OT license in Texas
- Experience with neuro or orthopedic patient populations is a plus, but not required if you have strong motivation
- Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
