The Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services -Promoting Active Connections (PAC) is responsible for leading and overseeing Care Management Associates (CMAs) in the outreach and engagement of OhioRISE members. This role ensures compliance with Aetna, OhioRISE, and Medicaid standards while driving measurable improvements in member engagement, care coordination outcomes, and team performance. The Associate Manager is a key leader for operational execution, process adherence, and innovation in care management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly oversee Care Management Associates to ensure timely, effective outreach and engagement with OhioRISE members.
- Oversee the execution of the Persistent Outreach process, ensuring CMAs follow all required steps for member engagement (e.g., minimum outreach attempts, documentation, consent events, follow-up scheduling).
- Collaborate closely with functional Health Services managers to ensure consistency and accuracy in interventions supporting current members.
- Take accountability for completing tasks aimed at achieving financial, operational, and quality objectives for the PAC team.
- Lead the development and execution of data-driven strategies, using dashboards, audit tools, and productivity reports, to increase member engagement rates across the PAC team. Leverage insights from team and operational metrics to identify trends, set priorities, and drive collective action for improved engagement outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams to meet performance metrics through clear expectations, regular coaching, accountability structures, and data driven performance oversight.
- Assist in implementing and sustaining action plans, initiatives, and strategies that support Clinical Health Services policies and procedures.
- Support the escalation process for hard-to-reach members, including coordination with state partners as outlined by PAC protocol.
- Champion reduction of administrative burden, purposing and implementing solutions to maximize time spent on direct member care, including the adoption of digital tools.
- Partner with Clinical Education, patient resources, divisional management, and other key departments to evaluate performance initiatives and recommend training to drive outcomes.
- Support change management efforts, effectively rolling out and sustaining new Clinical Health Services initiatives.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings to ensure clear communication of new and ongoing policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and member-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' work experience in behavioral health or related field.
- Requires applicable license/certification and - specialized knowledge and expertise from entry to experienced level
- Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Advanced growth mindset skills (agility and developing yourself and others).
- Advanced skills in execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting).
- Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate option.
- Advanced digital literacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Care Manager (CCM) Certification
- CANS Certification
Education
- Minimum of a Master's Degree
- Must have a LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, LPCC-S, RN Master level

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$80,340.00 - $173,040.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
