The Department of General Surgery at Geisinger, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania

Join a full scope Breast Surgery practice with a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. The practice has a special emphasis on an inherited risk and high risk programs as well as research & teaching components. 

Comprehensive Breast Health Program:

o   Onsite radiologists, pathologists, breast and plastic surgeons, psychologists, geneticists, nurse navigators, and a high-risk clinic

o   ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

o   Blocked OR and clinic time 

      Advanced Imaging Technology:

o   3D HD screening and diagnostic mammography

o   Multimodality breast interventions including upright tomographic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies

o   Fully integrated electronic health record (Epic)

      Academic & Research Opportunities:

o   Opportunity to teach our residents and medical school students

o   Participate in clinical trials and other research initiative
