Job Description
New England Hand Associates is looking for a Certified Hand Therapist/Occupational Therapist with experience in hands to work in our Hopkinton and Natick offices. Our NEHA Hand Therapists work directly with 3 Board Certified Hand Surgeons. We are fortunate to have a highly communicative and supportive work environment with our team of physicians, therapists, administrative and support staff in a private practice setting.
Responsibilities
Our population includes problems of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand across all age spans. Duties include evaluation and treatment for both the conservatively and surgically managed patients. Ability to work collaboratively with the surgeons within NE Hand and any outside referring physicians. Strong splinting skills required. Knowledge of EPIC a plus but will gladly teach. Other skills required are being able to work independently, solid organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Qualification and Skills:
Master’s/bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Licensed OT in the state of Massachusetts
Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) preferred although will consider therapist with strong splinting skills/experience in Hand Therapy for minimum of 3 years or on CHT track
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 30-40 hours Full Time. No weekends or holidays
Work Setting: In Person, Hopkinton and Natick, MA office locations
Requirements
Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) preferred although will consider therapist with strong splinting skills/experience in Hand Therapy for minimum of 3 years or on CHT track. Must be able to travel between Natick and Hopkinton office locations as scheduled. CHT's work in a high volume clinic seeing both scheduled evaluations as well as walk in splints.
