As a COTA, you'll work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, hands-on rehabilitation services that make a real difference in participants' everyday lives.

What You'll Do
Provide individualized and small-group occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Help participants develop and maintain essential daily living skills, including self-care, home man

Key Requirements

Qualifications

Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program, current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, and relevant professional certification as applicable. Experience with acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, or outpatient/community rehabilitation preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Current Massachusetts professional license appropriate to the position; current CPR/First Aid certification.
Communication and Clinical Judgment
Ability to communicate effectively with participants with varied physical, cognitive, behavioral, and communication needs; families, caregivers, staff, and interdisciplinary partners. Demonstrates sound clinical judgment, appropriate recognition and escalation of safety concerns, and effective teamwork within professional scope of practice.
Physical and Clinical Requirements
Ability to safely participate in therapeutic activities and provide hands-on assistance with functional tasks, mobility, transfers, positioning, and equipment use as needed, using appropriate body mechanics, safety procedures, and reasonable accommodations.
