Minimum Requirements:
Associate degree in Dental Hygiene, licensed as a Dental Hygienist and 2 years of related experience. Grade 7 (Hourly)
Position Description:
The Dental Hygienist will perform dental hygiene functions for new and periodic recall patients at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry Owensboro, KY practice, located at 2811 New Hartford Road, Suite A, Owensboro, KY 42303. This is a part-time position.
May be eligible for $5,000 sign-on bonus per ULSD policies and procedures and a $5,000 retention bonus upon the completion of one year of service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform oral hygiene instructions and prophylaxis
- Work with dental providers to complete scaling, root planning and polishing along with periodontal maintenance
- Assist providers in taking digital radiographic images
- Organize and follow through with maintaining a viable recall system for the practice
- Maintain and assist staff in the sterilization of hygiene instruments
- Other duties as assigned
Target Compensation Maximum:
$45.89
Target Compensation Minimum:
$30.60
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
