We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Compensation to provide college-wide leadership in shaping and advancing a comprehensive compensation philosophy that attracts, retains, and motivates a highly skilled workforce.
This senior leadership role guides the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of the College’s classification and compensation programs. The Director ensures compensation practices are fair, competitive, data-informed, and aligned with institutional goals. Serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, this position provides strategic guidance on workforce design, market benchmarking, equity analyses, reorganizations, reclassifications, and complex pay matters while promoting compliance and operational excellence.

Salary: The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
$90,000 to $115,000
Location: This position is primarily remote; however, the Director must be available to report to any Valencia College campus as business needs require.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.
- Progressive and significant years of total human resources experience with demonstrated specific years in compensation, talent acquisition or related HR field. Demonstrated experience in human resources or compensation consulting to meet business needs and oversight of redesign, implementation, and administration of significant compensation or related HR projects.
- Please note that you will need to establish Florida residency within 30 days from your start date if selected for this position.
