Job Function Accounting/Finance

About this role

Our client, a tier one global bank, is building out its digital assets business across Asia and globally. They are looking for a VP to run financial planning, analytics and programme management for the business from Singapore.

This is a hands-on role that sits close to the business heads. You will own the numbers, help shape the strategy and keep a fast-moving programme on track. It suits someone who is equally comfortable building a forecast model and running a steering committee across their digital asset business

Key responsibilities
  1. Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reporting for the digital assets business, including P&L, cost and headcount tracking
  2. Build and maintain analytics and dashboards covering revenue, client activity, volumes and unit economics
  3. Prepare business cases and investment papers for new products, platforms and market launches
  4. Run the programme management office for the digital assets agenda, covering plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs and budget tracking
  5. Prepare steering committee and senior management packs, and present findings to business and functional heads
  6. Work closely with Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Operations to keep delivery aligned and decisions moving
  7. Track benefits and KPIs after launch, and flag where performance or cost is moving away from plan
  8. Support regulatory and internal reporting needs linked to digital assets activity

About you
  1. 8 to 12 years' experience in FP&A, business finance, strategy or programme management within a bank, broker, exchange or fintech
  2. Exposure to digital assets, tokenisation, crypto custody or trading, or blockchain-based payments (strongly preferred)
  3. Strong financial modelling and analytics skills, with advanced Excel and experience of BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI. SQL or Python is a plus
  4. A track record of running multi-workstream programmes with senior stakeholders
  5. Clear, confident communicator who can turn complex numbers into a simple story for senior management
  6. A degree in finance, economics, engineering or a related field. A CA, CPA, CFA or PMP is an advantage
  7. Comfortable working in a growing business where the structure is still taking shape

This is a chance to join a digital assets business at an early stage, inside a bank with the balance sheet and global reach to scale it. The role offers wide exposure to senior leadership, a broad remit across finance and delivery, and real influence over how the business grows.
