Description
The University of Kansas Health System (TUKHS), based in Kansas City, KS, has engaged HealthSearch Partners to lead the search for a Pharmacy Director, Infusion Services. A critical Pharmacy Department and system-level leader for TUKHS, the selected candidate will provide effective leadership and mentorship to the Department of Pharmacy for Infusion Services.

The Pharmacy Director, Infusion Services, reports directly to the Senior Director of Cancer Care and Infusion Pharmacy Services and will be a visible and influential Pharmacy leader. The Director will partner closely with Pharmacy leadership across the Health System for home infusion and outpatient infusion care.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is required; a PharmD or RPh is preferred with completion of an accredited pharmacy residency; an additional master’s degree in Pharmacy or Health Administration or Business Administration is also preferred. In addition, professional state licensing is required. Licensing with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy must be completed in 120 days.
In addition, a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Pharmacy Infusion leadership and administration is needed with demonstrated experience providing strategic leadership for Home Infusion services and Outpatient Infusion Services within a large, complex health care organization.
