Foundation Health Partners seeks an accomplished and strategic leader as its next Director of Medical Imaging in beautiful, family friendly Fairbanks, Alaska. The $22M revenue radiology department at Foundation Health Partners is widely recognized for its commitment to patient-centered and community-centered care, clinical expertise, and advanced diagnostic and modern imaging capabilities.

As the leader over all imaging modalities, key priorities are (1) designing customer-centered and provider-centered competitive strategies to attract radiology business to Foundation’s state-of-the-art Fairbanks Imaging & Breast Center; (2) increasing volumes by streamlining workflows and optimizing capacity; and (3) leadership for team building, retention, new staff integration, and traveler cost management. The role includes close collaboration with Foundation Health Partners’ contracted radiologist group and exposure to several levels of clinical leaders including C-suite executives.

The Medical Imaging Director will be responsible for oversight of a team of approximately 90-100 technologists, nurses, and patient financial services support staff members. Direct reports are one senior manager over inpatient and outpatient locations, one outpatient supervisor and one inpatient supervisor, as well as a radiology education coordinator.
