Description
We are looking for a Director of Operations to join our growing team
Position: Director of Operations
Location: Remote, with travel up to 60%
Reports to: Vice President of Go To Market Team
The PawDoc Director of Operations plays a central role in the successful launch of new veterinary hospitals and the continued growth of existing hospitals. This position is responsible for developing hospital teams from the ground up: managing interviewing, hiring, and onboarding; establishing workflows and operating procedures; setting, implementing, and maintaining client service standards; and ensuring that hospital teams are prepared, confident, and supported from day one. The Director of Operations also oversees existing PawDoc hospitals to ensure continued success and support of our Core Values: WOW Service, Learning, Respect, Fun, and Do the Right Thing.
This role is ideal for an experienced field operator with:
5+ years of hospital leadership experience, including multi-site leadership
Strong analytical experience, including KPIs, P&Ls, and budgeting
Experience participating in and supporting new hospital openings
Proven experience growing existing locations
A passion for teaching, training, and developing hospital leaders and team members
Hands-on experience in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training support teams
Success in building relationships across teams
Experience in both general practice and specialty/emergency veterinary hospital environments preferred
