Overview**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven **Director of Sales** to lead and manage all aspects of revenue generation at our premier private country club. This individual will be responsible for driving outside revenue through membership sales, private events, and golf tournaments, while also serving as a key liaison between the club and affiliated real estate teams to ensure strategic alignment and cross-promotional success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Membership Sales:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive membership sales strategy to drive new member acquisition and retention.
- Build relationships with prospective members through networking, community engagement, lead follow-up, and in-person tours.
- Maintain a strong understanding of club offerings and communicate the value proposition to potential members.
- Track and report on membership sales pipeline and performance metrics.
- Private Events & Golf Tournaments:
- Sell, plan, and coordinate private events, including weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.
- Partner with the golf operations team to promote and execute profitable golf tournaments and group outings.
- Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, planners, and local businesses to drive event bookings.
- Ensure seamless execution of all events in collaboration with the operations and culinary teams.
- Real Estate Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the club and associated real estate development or sales teams.
- Coordinate messaging, promotions, and events that support both club membership and real estate sales.
- Attend real estate meetings and provide updates on club offerings, events, and membership opportunities
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and work collaboratively to enhance the overall value of the community.
- Leadership & Reporting:
- Develop and manage annual sales and marketing plans aligned with the club's strategic goals.
- Work closely with the General Manager, COO, and other department heads to ensure alignment across all revenue-generating activities.
- Monitor performance data and KPIs; prepare regular reports on sales activity and financial performance.
- Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate, up-to-date prospect and client records.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in a private club, hospitality, or luxury real estate environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing and closing high-value sales with an emphasis on service and client experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Understanding of private club culture and high-end service standards.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
