Position Title: Director of Strategic Accounts
Location: Milan 4905
Department: Sales

Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 / year
Director of Strategic Accounts
The Director of Strategic Accounts is responsible for revenue and profit growth required to maintain division's goals and initiatives. The primary functions of this job include development, implementation and management of strategic sales plans, lead generation, opportunity validation, proposal lifecycle management, pipeline management in CRM software, client on-boarding, contract negotiations, superior customer service, and profitable sales growth.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure including: proposals, scoping, pricing and contract negotiations.
- Create, and maintain customer business plans that layout the strategy, objectives, and tactics to achieve success with a customer.
- Execute agreed upon sales strategies
- Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and lead generation.
- Develop a pipeline of viable opportunities that exceeds sales quotas, and keep abreast of prospects.
- Accurately forecast new lead generation and report sales cycle progress throughout CRM tools on a weekly basis.
- Drive prospects through to contract award, including proposal presentation and successful implementation of the solution with clients.
- Deliver revenue growth aligned with the category strategies and profit objectives of the company
- Attend conferences/trade shows/industry events as applicable to support development of sales leads/pipeline.
- Lead negotiations on Client contracts, terms and conditions to ensure proper protections are in place
- Build, deepen and maintain high level contacts with current and prospective business partners to increase market penetration and brand recognition.
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention together with the Group O Accounts/Client Services Management Team
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.
Secondary Functions:
- Work cross functionally within company to ensure that the organization is aligned to the customer strategy.
- Collaborate with internal personnel to build competitive RFx response(s), and opportunity proposals.
- Follow and uphold Company Values, Mission, and Vision.
- Oversee and participate in special projects as needed.
- Other tasks/assignments as directed by leadership.
Job Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent
Experience:
- Five plus years experience and demonstrated successful sales track record required.
- Previous experience positioning and closing professional services opportunities.
- Previous project management or account management experience preferred.
- Sales experience within supply chain, logistics, or outsourced services preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent sales skills, lead development and qualification skills including at the executive level
- Excellent oral and written communications skills including strong presentation/demo skills both in person and via phone/web presentation
- Excellent communications skills (oral, written and presentation skills) and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task with time and workload management, prioritizing and handling multiple requests concurrently
- Be flexible and adaptable
- High-energy, self-confident, self-motivated and goal-driven
- Technology literate in Microsoft office and general computer skills. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
