This position will serve on the Athletics executive team as the key advisor to the Director of Athletics for all philanthropic and alumni relations matters, including but not limited to overseeing all aspects of Major Gift and Panther Club fundraising efforts.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; 7 years relevant experience; Ability to understand, interact with and effectively organize, manage and lead individuals and teams of people; Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills.

Job Summary
Serves as a senior advisor to the athletic director and athletics department and leads in the development and advancement of strategic priorities and management. Oversees major departments within athletics and leads multiple teams, initiatives and projects. Serves as liaison between internal and external stakeholders and fosters key relationships on behalf of the athletic department. Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
Essential Functions
Unit Oversight: Directs and oversees all aspects of Major Gift and Panther Club fundraising, including but not limited to stewardship, events, communication, social media, and programming. Leads and manages a staff of professionals in all Fundraising units, including major gifts, Panther Club, operations, signature events, donor experience, and annual giving.
Fundraising/Donor Management: Leverages new and existing donor recognition tools to build long-term relationships with donors. Carries portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects. Creates an aggressive and modern fundraising model for entire unit that achieves short-and long-term goals in support of Athletics fundraising priorities. Fosters and maintains internal and external relationships with those who impact fundraising efforts. Ensures all donor activity, communication, and prospect management are accurately recorded and tracked in Affinaquest, maintaining full alignment with the University's Philanthropy and Engagement division and institutional fundraising protocols. Incumbent will follow the University's prospect management policies and procedures.
Capital Gifts: Secures funding for current and future capital projects including new facilities and upgrades as determined by the Director of Athletics. Manages and creates opportunities to secure funds for capital needs for all 19 varsity sports, spirit squad and band.
Additional Duties: Executes additional responsibilities as requested by the Director of Athletics.
