Visit South Padre Island has retained SearchWide Global to find a personable, engaged, and strong leader to serve as the new Executive Director.

Visit South Padre Island (VSPI), a division of the City of South Padre Island, is the official destination marketing organization for the Island globally and the primary sales and marketing organization for the South Padre Island Convention Center.

The mission of Visit South Padre Island is to generate economic impact and job growth by increasing the Island’s hotel occupancy and revenues while positively affecting other diverse segments of the hospitality industry. 

The Executive Director is a senior professional management and supervisory position. This position functions as the chief administrative officer of the Convention and Visitors Bureau and is responsible for the management, organizational development, planning, and direction of the Visitors Bureau, sales and marketing efforts, and the convention center.
