Description
DescriptionThe SIUE Department of Public Health and Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology is in search for an Instructor of Speech-Language Pathology. The Instructor will primarily teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Speech-Language Pathology program. Responsibilities include student mentoring and service to the program, department, and University. Responsibilities may also include supervision of graduate students providing assessment and treatment services through the SIUE Speech-Language-Hearing Center. Summer assignments may be available, depending upon enrollment and funding.

Qualifications
Applicants must have a Master's degree in speech-language pathology or a closely related field and hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Applicants must have or be eligible for Illinois State licensure through the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and have at least 3 years of clinical, professional experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience with pediatric speech and language development and disorders.
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and members of the university and local community.
