West Coast Podiatry is a well-established, patient-centered clinic in New Westminster, BC, Canada.  Our office provides a high-volume, collaborative environment with a diverse patient base. 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, utilizing advanced medical technology and collaborating with health professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients presenting foot and ankle conditions
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including sports injuries, diabetic foot care, and biomechanical issues.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient treatment
• Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and post-treatment care
• General foot care & maintenance
• Perform minor in office procedures.
• Prescribe and fit customized foot orthotic insoles. 

Requirements

Candidate Qualifications/Requirements:

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a recognized podiatry residency program.
• Current registration (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent people skills, bedside manner, positive demeanor and a team-player mentality.
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and effective patient education
• Preference for Applicants with valid Canadian work authorization; citizenship or permanent residency
