Experienced Physiotherapist (Visa Sponsorship Available) – Private MSK Practice
Location: Kanwal, Central Coast NSW
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Two positions currently available
Salary:
New Graduate Physiotherapist: $70,000–$75,000 + super + $2,000 CPD allowance
Experienced Physiotherapist: $90,000–$115,000 + super (negotiable based on experience)
Visa Sponsorship: Available for the senior role (TSS 482 or 494 Regional Visa)

We are the largest clinic between Gosford and Newcastle, offering a unique combination of hands-on physiotherapy and exercise-based rehabilitation. Our facilities include a fully equipped reformer Pilates studio with five reformers running 40–50 classes a week, as well as a modern treatment and rehabilitation space.

Kevin – 3rd-year Sports Physio
Felix – 2nd-year MSK Physio
Reed – Exercise Physiologist/Physio (relocating end of year)
Nicole – Senior Massage Therapist
Jo & Hayley – Senior Pilates Instructors

The Role
We are looking for a motivated, patient-centred Physiotherapist to join our friendly team.
You’ll assess and treat a variety of musculoskeletal, post-surgical, and sports injury cases, while having the freedom to shape your caseload around your interests.

That means Kanwal does qualify as a designated regional area for the purposes of the Subclass 494 visa if all other eligibility conditions are satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and manage diverse MSK, post-op, and sports rehab cases
Deliver hands-on treatment and prescribe exercise-based rehabilitation programs
Educate patients and guide long-term recovery
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with GPs, instructors, and other allied health providers
(Optional) Mentor junior staff or participate in teaching sessions
Some local home visits may be required
About You
Essential:
Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA and SIRA-approved in NSW
Minimum 4+ years clinical experience (for senior role)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for evidence-based, patient-focused care
For New Graduates:
Some prior experience (e.g. sports coverage, assistant work, or student placements) preferred
Willingness to learn, grow, and work under mentorship
Visa Sponsorship Information
If we cannot find a suitable local candidate, we are open to sponsoring a qualified overseas physiotherapist under the appropriate visa pathway — likely Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482) or Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (subclass 494) visa, given our location on the Central Coast.
We will support the successful candidate through the sponsorship and relocation process.

Requirements
Excellent interpersonal, communication and patient rapport skills.
Strong clinical reasoning, flexibility in approach, evidence-based orientation.
Team player, motivated, reliability, with a desire to grow.
Desirable:
Experience / interest in dry needling, Pilates, sports rehab.
Experience mentoring/junior supervision.
Interest in advanced techniques or special interest areas (e.g. vestibular, pelvic health).
