Description
Your RoleAs the Head of Global Salesforce Business Analysts & Admins, you will lead a team of skilled professionals responsible for translating business needs into actionable CRM solutions. Your role is critical in aligning strategic objectives with system capabilities, ensuring that the Salesforce-based OneCRM program (PULSE) delivers measurable value across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, IT stakeholders, and integration leads, to drive clarity, consistency, and excellence in business analysis.
Purpose / Key Responsibilities:
- Guiding and leading Salesforce Business Analysts & Admins: This includes setting clear goals, providing continuous support and empowerment, fostering motivation, offering constructive challenges, and serving as a role model for the team.
- Providing mentorship to team members: Provide general and especially technical mentorship to other team members, guiding them through complex problems, promoting their technical & personal growth, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team
- Developing and implementing CRM strategies: Contribute to the OneCRM target picture by creating and executing the vision, and success KPIs, ensuring change, communication, training, and governance efforts are aligned with strategic goals
- Managing CRM platform: Ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into effective CRM solutions, supporting data integrity and alignment with organizational objectives
- Working with other departments: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Service, and IT teams across business units, regions, and countries to ensure consistency and effectiveness of CRM-related business processes
- Providing architectural guidance: Support architectural decision-making by ensuring business requirements are well-defined, scalable, and aligned with the overall CRM architecture
- Training and support: Enable Salesforce Business Analysts and other stakeholders through training on effective CRM system usage, BA and agile methodologies, and support for implementation and maintenance activities
Requisite Qualification & Experience:
- University Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management) or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years experience in professional experience in Pharma/ Life Science industry, preferably in CRM focused and commercial-oriented roles
- Leadership skills: Ability to guide and influence teams to achieve CRM goals
- Salesforce Admin Certification is a must (Business Analyst certification preferred)
- Strong, hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Salesforce solutions, particularly within Sales Cloud and/or any other Cloud
- Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and workshop facilitation
- Strong experience in creating high-quality documentation for both business and technical audiences
- Skills-Set: Experience in managing CRM projects, including implementation and rollout; Ability to identify and resolve customer issues, as well as process and system issues; Strong data analysis and interpretation skills to identify trends and insights
- Experienced in the coordination and management of commercial initiatives (sales, marketing, service) across multiple countries and business divisions within a multinational company
- Experience in large-scale multi-country cloud implementation initiatives and project management as well as independent, process- and result-oriented way of working
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant learning management tools; A Project management certifications is a plus
- Background in the Pharmaceutical or a related healthcare/regulated industry is a significant advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally (moderate travel requirement)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills: Effective written and verbal communication for interacting with various teams and stakeholders in English and German
