This position will provide operational and budgetary support to ensure the successful execution of multi-site clinical trials, community engagement,
and dissemination of research findings. They will work closely with the Co-Directors, affiliated universities, community partners, and national
collaborators to improve outcomes for individuals affected by substance use disorders. They will assist in managing day-to-day operations with
coordination across partner institutions as well as collaboration on strategic planning and implementation of priorities.
Develops and maintains the annual operating budget, which combines multiple grant-based awards, institutional funding; presents budget reports to facilitate strategic planning. Develops program-specific budgets.
Lead the development, monitoring, and management of the budget across multiple institutions and funding streams. Ensure compliance with
NIH and university financial policies, including reporting and auditing requirements. Track expenditures, forecast financial needs, and prepare
detailed financial reports for Co-Directors. Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and resource optimization.- Supervises staff, which includes hiring, conducting performance reviews, documenting disciplinary actions, and overseeing other human
resource administration. - Work is complex and strategic in nature. Decisions and actions have a direct impact on the operational and strategic outcomes. High level of
problem-solving skills are required. - Oversight of resources and purchases. Initiate and review contracts for services.
Job Summary
Supports Clinical Research operations and performs various budgetary functions comprised of multiple grant-based awards, institutional funding, and tuition revenue; develops program-specific budgets as well as the annual operating budget. Manages all resources and multiple training grants and assists scholars and trainees in utilization of funds. Manages space utilization. Contributes to the development and implementation of web-based systems to support operations and training programs.
Essential Functions
Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Combination of On-Campus and Remote work as determined by the department.
Hiring Range: $75,000 - $95,000
