- Managing Director - Botstober Institute for Wildlife Fertility Control (BIWFC)
Description
The Botstiber Institute for Wildlife Fertility Control (BIWFC) is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Managing Director. Reporting to the Foundation's leadership, the Managing Director will direct all administrative functions of the Institute, guide activities to correspond to the Institute’s vision, oversee programs and timelines, manage staff in the U.S. and Europe, and build national and international partnerships in the field of wildlife fertility control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy, planning, and execution of BIWFC programs and initiatives
- Manage cross-functional teams and contractors
- Represent BIWFC at global events and engage with researchers, policymakers, and partners
- Oversee operations, budgeting, contracts, institute events, and communications
- Build BIWFC’s reputation as a leading resource in wildlife fertility control
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in nonprofit or mission-driven program management
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Financial acumen and operational oversight experience
- Comfortable managing remote/international teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Qualifications include:
- Demonstrated experience in program administration and development, ideally within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Strong organizational, planning, and staff management skills, with the ability to lead both in-person and virtual teams.
- Excellent judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills across scientific, academic, government, NGO, and advocacy sectors.
- Financial and administrative skills, including budget preparation and oversight.
- Computer literacy with standard office and communications software.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (background in animal science or related field beneficial but not required).
