- Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sub Specialist
Description
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah Health Sciences is seeking a full-time board-eligible/board-certified Maternal-fetal Medicine (MFM) sub-specialist or MFM-Geneticist to join a successful academic division.
Candidates should have demonstrated competence and experience in clinical Maternal-Fetal Medicine, obstetric ultrasound, and invasive fetal diagnostic procedures. Applicants with special expertise in one or more areas, including perinatal genetics, and fetal diagnosis and intervention are particularly encouraged to apply. Job duties will predominantly consist of interpreting obstetric ultrasound and working in a multidisciplinary setting at the Grant Scott Bonham Fetal Center at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. Experience in a setting where fetal intervention procedures were performed is preferred.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate leadership in expanding the clinical, research and/or education missions of the division. Candidates must value communication and team building, productive interdepartmental and multidisciplinary interactions, and fellow, resident, and medical student education, as well as the provision of outstanding clinical care. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
