We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to support immunoassay and automated chemistry testing in our CLIA-certified laboratory focused on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) diagnostics. This role emphasizes high-complexity chemistry and immunoassay testing using automated analyzers for blood-based biomarkers.
Requirements
Immunoassay & Chemistry Testing
- Perform high-complexity immunoassay and chemistry testing using automated analyzers
- Develop LDTs on innovative chemistry instrumentation used for the most up to date Alzheimer’s Disease testing
- Prepare and process clinical specimens following SOPs across all testing phases.
Instrumentation & Maintenance
- Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated chemistry and immunoassay analyzers.
- Identify and resolve analyzer, reagent, or assay performance issues to minimize downtime.
Quality Control & Assurance
- Conduct daily QC, calibration, and verification procedures.
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and internal laboratory standards.
- Support audit readiness and participate in inspections.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Review and validate test results; accurately enter and maintain records in the LIS.
- Ensure precise and timely data entry and result reporting.
Inventory & Reagent Management
- Monitor inventory of reagents and consumables for chemistry and immunoassay testing.
- Validate new reagent lots prior to clinical use.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed on advancements in clinical chemistry and immunoassay technologies.
- Participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.
