Location: Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, Thursday Island
Remuneration: Comprising salary between $3,030.00 - $4,592.80 per fortnight employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%)
HP3 Occupational Therapist - Thursday Island
Temporary Full Time to 27 June 2027 (with possible extension) / Flexible contract options also available.

We're seeking an adaptable, resilient, community-focused HP3 Occupational Therapist to join our Torres Strait team based on Thursday Island.
This is a rare opportunity to practise at the top of your scope in a remote setting where your contribution is immediate, visible, and truly meaningful.
About the role
As an HP3 OT, you will:
- Deliver culturally responsive, person-centred occupational therapy services across the lifespan
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary rural and remote health team
- Provide outreach services to outer islands (travel opportunities included)
- Support complex presentations with high levels of autonomy
- Contribute to service development, clinical leadership and supervision
