DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES OT - We are seeking a full time OT to join a department of 3 OTs and a COTA serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Gainesville, Florida.    Part time of 20-30 hours per week also considered.    You would serve 6-7 homes located on this large self contained campus,  each home having 10 residents.   Treat people for as long as it takes - NO THERAPY CAPS.  Everyone qualifies for all services- NO INSURANCE BILLING.  Each person receives an annual OT assessment.  If therapy is recommended, they also receive quarterly progress reports.  We have closets full of adaptive mealtime equipment, therapy materials and splinting supplies.  The campus also has it's own Adaptive Devices workshop - if you can think of it, they can make it.

Work setting is relaxed and professional. It's great to walk around campus, or you can drive, bike or take OT's golf cart.  Decent pay with full benefits, including SEVEN WEEKS OFF annually.   1099s also welcomed.   Thanks for checking out this ad, please contact us for more info.

Requirements
