About the role

Southern Cross Occupational Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments in the client's home to identify client needs and develop customised intervention plans.
* Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to help clients achieve their goals.
* Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
* Document client progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with professional standards.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
* Promote and advocate for the profession of occupational therapy within the community.

What we're looking for (recommended)

 * Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experienced and new Graduate Occupational Therapist positions are available.
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients
* Proficient in the use of digital technologies and client management software
* Experience with assistive technology prescribing to meet individual needs
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
* Have a current Australian Driver's Licence
