Description
Responsibilities-
- Lead end-to-end execution of primary market equity and debt investments, including PE deals and structured financing, from origination to exit. The investment focus lies in the technology-related industry, with a geographical coverage spanning Hong Kong and other regions.
- Independently or collaboratively drive deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring, term negotiation, investment documentation, and closing.
- Manage portfolio companies post-investment, formulate exit strategies (e.g., IPO, trade sale), and execute exits to maximize returns.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, industry associations, and intermediaries to secure high-quality deal flow.
- Mentor junior team members, enhance investment processes, and strengthen risk management frameworks.
- Monitor global and Greater China primary market trends, providing strategic insights for institutional decision-making.
Requirements
-
- A bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. CPA/CFA/MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of primary market experience (equity & debt), with proven track record in PE and structured finance, including 3+ full-cycle deals from execution to successful exit. The deals should be mainly related to technology-related sectors.
- Strong industry network to source and execute proprietary deals independently.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, legal term structuring, and cross-border transactions.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, with ability to liaise with global LPs and regional stakeholders.
- Prior team leadership experience, resilience under pressure.
