Are you ready to shape the future of Medical Education on Florida's Space Coast? Health First is seeking visionary leaders to serve as Program Directors for our ACGME-accredited residency programs. This is your opportunity to LAUNCH the next stage of your academic career and make a lasting impact on the next generation of physicians.
We are currently seeking experienced, passionate physician-educators to serve as Program Directors for the following ACGME-accredited residency programs:
- General Surgery
- Emergency Medicine
- Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Internal Medicine
- Transitional Year
Each Program Director will lead their respective residency program, ensuring excellence in education, clinical training, and compliance with ACGME standards.
General Requirements:
- Board Certification in the relevant specialty by the appropriate certifying board (e.g., ABS, ABEM, ABOG, ABIM).
- Minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in graduate medical education.
- Demonstrated scholarly activity aligned with the program's mission.
- Active Florida Medical License.
- Familiarity with GME online and reporting systems including NRMP or SF Match, ERAS, AMA, Freida, GMETrack, ABOS, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Program Director, Associate Program Director, or core faculty.
- Experience in curriculum development, resident evaluation, and faculty development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
