BC Cancer is seeking dedicated Radiation Oncologists to join our provincial Radiation Therapy program. Opportunities are available across our regional cancer centres located in Vancouver, Victoria, Surrey, Abbotsford, Kelowna, and Prince George. BC Cancer delivers a comprehensive cancer control program for the people of British Columbia and provides care in close partnership with regional health authorities.

Role Summary
Radiation Oncologists at BC Cancer provide highquality clinical care across a range of tumour sites within a multidisciplinary environment. Disease site coverage varies by centre and may include common and complex malignancies such as breast, lung, gastrointestinal, head and neck, genitourinary, gynecologic, CNS, and additional solid tumours.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver evidencebased radiation oncology care within a collaborative team setting.
- Participate in resident and medical student education and support the centre’s academic mandate.
- Engage in clinical research, clinical trials, and qualityimprovement initiatives aligned with our provincial programs.
- Contribute to standardized provincial care pathways and tumourgroup activities.

Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Hold a Fellowship in Radiation Oncology (FRCPC) or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Meet the requirements for appointment to the medical staff of BC Cancer and partnering health authorities.
New! BC now offers a streamlined licensure pathway for UStrained physicians. Under CPSBC bylaw changes effective July7,2025, candidates who completed ACGMEaccredited training and hold ABMS certification can qualify for full licensure in BC without additional exams or assessments.
