About the Role:
Boynton Health is seeking a strong, accomplished clinical medical leader to serve as the Senior Director of Clinical Services. This leader will champion student and patient-centered responsive health care through a team based approach. This position will provide strategic direction and oversight for clinical services and collaborate with other leaders to foster, promote, and engage in health and wellness activities at Boynton and across the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Clinical Authority and Leadership (35%)
o Lead strategic initiatives, anchoring Boynton's values in the development of comprehensive care models for a diverse student body
Direct Patient Care in Urgent and Primary Care (35%)
o Provides clinical services, both acute and chronic, to students, faculty, and staff at the University of Minnesota and others eligible for care in both the Primary Care and Urgent Care Clinics.
Executive & Administrative Leadership (20%)
o Lead clinical services, craft culturally responsive care models tailored to the University of Minnesota student population.
Provider and Staff Supervision (10%)
o Supervise providers, leaders, and staff. Adhere to the University of Minnesota's Performance Management philosophy and practice.
What you'll need:
M.D. / D.O. degree. Licensure by the state of Minnesota to practice medicine.
ABMS board certification. Board certified in your specialty.
DEA certification.
Five (5) years of senior management/leadership and supervisory experience in a group practice/outpatient primary care setting, community health clinic setting, and/or college student health care. Proficient in healthcare operations, change management, and financial aspects.
Demonstrated experience in building, nurturing and leading high performing clinical teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle difficult conversations and deliver clear objectives.
Proficiency in healthcare operations, financial aspects and personnel.
Comprehensive understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance.
Proven commitment to serving all patients and an understanding of how health and social economic determinants of health affect the campus communities served by Boynton.

Pay and Benefits:
Pay Range: Annual Base Salary $285K - $295K
Time Appointment: 100% Appointment
University contributed (10% of your salary) to your retirement account - vested immediately.
Twenty-two paid vacation days per year (prorated based upon your appointment time), in addition to medical leave and 11 paid holidays.
Continuing Medical Education funds and time off prorated to your appointment time.
