The Wellbeing Directorate oversees Counselling and Wellbeing services, supporting students with personal and academic matters that may impact their progress and overall development.
As a key member of the Counselling Team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing student wellbeing, resilience, and academic success. You will be providing guidance that strengthens the students coping strategies, enhances their resilience, and improves key skills such as study techniques, motivation, and time management.
We are seeking a proactive and empathetic professional with significant experience in counselling, psychology, or social work. Expertise in developing wellbeing initiatives, delivering workshops, and using student support systems is essential and upholding professional ethical standards. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student wellbeing within a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements
- Relevant degree (psychology, social work, counselling) with at least three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Highlevel interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver psychosocialeducational programs and seminars.
- Clinical counselling experience across diverse issues, ages and cultural backgrounds, including the ability to design and implement proactive wellbeing programs.
- Strong knowledge of counselling theory, psychological disorders, transitional issues, equity and social justice principles to support participation and success of diverse student groups, including international students.
- Commitment to professional ethics and best practices in counselling.
