As the Wellness Staff Nurse- anywhere from 16 to 40 hours per week, part-time and full-time roles available- you will provide nurturing support and direct care for residents with a patient-centered approach. Requirements
Provide Clinical Care
- Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia, and a willingness to work with the elderly population is essential for this role.
- Demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in an eldercare setting by properly caring for residents’ healthcare needs.
- Assess and diagnose health issues and plan for proper clinical solutions and implement them accordingly.
- Identify, communicate, and document any observations and/or changes in residents’ health for revision to care plans if necessary
- Follow protocols such as infection control, preventive health, etc.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff at all levels to serve the needs of the residents in conjunction with others, foster a safe and healthy work and residential care environment.
- Recommend ideas and solutions for resident care situations on a case-by-case basis
- Assist in Training and monitoring of medication care administration.
- Establishes and maintains Assisted Living procedures in accordance with EOEA.
- Supervises the Resident Care Assistants.
Qualifications:
- Current MA State LPN/RN license and in good standing with the registry
