Advance Peace is dedicated to ending cyclical and retaliatory gun violence in American urban neighborhoods. Through a national community of practice, we work to enhance the human condition of those at the center of gun violence in Black and Brown communities. Our foundational Peacemaker Fellowship® (aka "Operation Peacemaker"), initiated in 2010, is a developmental, healing-centered leadership and liberation practice for communities impacted by cyclical gun violence. Since its inception, the Fellowship® has created transformative opportunities for individuals at the center of firearm hostilities.
