Company History
At Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center & Urgent Care, we believe great veterinary medicine starts with great veterinarians. For more than 25 years, our hospital has served the Tri-Valley community while continually investing in our doctors, our team, and the level of care we provide to our patients.
Founded by Dr. James DeLano and Dr. Franklin Utchen, Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center has grown from a community veterinary practice into one of Northern California's leading general practice and urgent care hospitals. Today, we combine the personalized relationships of a family practice with the capabilities, technology, and case variety typically found in much larger referral environments.
Located in San Ramon, California, our hospital serves a diverse and highly engaged client base that values quality medicine and comprehensive care. We offer a unique blend of wellness, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, hospitalization, advanced diagnostics, ultrasound, endoscopy, and complex medical case management. This allows our veterinarians to practice a broad spectrum of medicine while developing clinical interests and areas of expertise.
