For 50 years, we have been the premier provider of pulmonary outpatient care in central Virginia, with five locations offering full pulmonary function testing, allergy testing and immunotherapy, and biologic therapy.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Allergy Physician (Allergist-Immunologist) to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with allergic, immunologic, and respiratory conditions. The physician will provide comprehensive care for adult patients.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage allergic and immunologic disorders, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, and anaphylaxis.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin prick testing, patch testing, spirometry, and pulmonary function tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy (allergy shots), biologic therapies, and patient education.
• Manage acute allergic reactions and provide emergency treatment when necessary.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on allergen avoidance, medication use, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, pulmonologists, dermatologists, and other specialists.
• Stay current with advancements in allergy and immunology through continuing medical education.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Allergy and Immunology
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
• Demonstrated experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
• Familiarity with biologic therapies and advanced immunologic treatments
