The County of Santa Cruz is seeking an experienced and innovative Assistant Director of Information Services to join our leadership team!
This is an exciting opportunity for an IT leader to help shape the County’s technology services, support strategic initiatives, oversee complex projects, and help drive innovative solutions that serve our community. The Assistant Director works closely with the Information Services Director and may serve as Director in their absence.

Salary: $174,928 – $234,458 annually

Requirements
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain these knowledge and
abilities would be:
Equivalent to graduation with Degree in Information Management, Public Administration or related field and four years of supervisory or management experience. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for a maximum of twoyears of education.

- Experienced in enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, and modern infrastructure
Skilled in leading technical teams and managing large, multidepartment projects - Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Collaborative, adaptable, and effective at building strong crossdepartment relationships
- Demonstrates integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to secure, reliable publicservice technology
- Proactive problemsolve with a focus on service excellence and continuous improvement
