- Assistant Director of Project Management
Description
The Research Computing Center (RCC) is seeking an experienced, hands-on Assistant Director of Project Management to oversee a variety of complex projects, including High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure initiatives, faculty-supported research projects, and internal RCC efforts. This role ensures RCC meets its deliverables timely and provides high-quality customer service. It focuses on prompt execution, managing procurements, deployments, system rollouts, and ongoing coordination across technical teams and faculty stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of the Research Computing Center, the Assistant Director for Project Management will be a strategic partner responsible for driving all assigned projects to successful completion.
This is a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days per week onsite.

Pay Range
$76,500.00 - $95,000.00The included pay rate or range represents the University’s good faith estimate of the possible compensation offer for this role at the time of posting.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree.
Experience:
- Experience managing projects or programs in an academic or research environment.
- Experience with project management software.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management certification.
Experience creating reports and documentation.
