Requirements
Core Responsibilities
Clinical & Operational Excellence: Lead hospital-based initiatives to drive quality, safety, patient satisfaction, and fiscal stewardship across departments.
Physician & Clinician Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships across medical staff, teaching structured problem-solving and modeling closed-loop communication.
Governance & Regulatory Leadership: Develop expertise in Medical Staff Bylaws, Credentialing, Peer Review, and healthcare compliance.
Mission Alignment: Ensure operational decisions reflect Ascension’s Core Values and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives (ERDs).
Clinical Practice: Maintain active, high-quality patient care practice at ASV Kokomo.
Required Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Certification: Board Certification in primary specialty.
Licensure: Active (or eligible for) unrestricted Indiana Medical License and DEA registration.
Experience: Active clinical practice with demonstrated leadership interest (medical director, committee chair, or clinical lead experience preferred).
Commitment: Minimum 2-year leadership commitment.
