Description

The Department of Exercise Sciences at Brigham Young University is seeking applicants for three newly created positions—one professorial position and two professional positions. One position will help undergraduate students earn professional certifications in exercise sciences as part of their BYU educational experience.  Two positions will support the establishment and growth of the new BYU Health Across the Lifespan Initiative.  For more information or to apply, see https://exsc.byu.edu/open-faculty-positions.

Requirements

- Develop and lead certification- and accreditation-aligned pathways for exercise science students (e.g., strength and conditioning or exercise physiology), with initial emphases on NSCA and ACSM credentials.
- Coordinate curriculum alignment, assessment, experiential learning, professional partnerships, teaching, and student mentoring.
