Certified Orthotist Part Time Opportunity (Full time will be considered)

Hiring Immediately - The ROKband Pediatric Head Shape Clinic provides assessment, education and treatment to families of infants aged 2-18 months who present with head shape asymmetries such as plagiocephaly. We are looking for a vibrant and compassionate Orthotist who loves working with babies and young families in a high-tech environment (ie 3D Scanning & 3D Printing). This role is temporary and part time. With that said, it's possible to lead into other opportunities within due to expansion in the area. Please reach out with questions.
Job Type: Part Time (18 month Term): 8-16 hours per week (Monday to Friday) One or two days per week based on your availability. Shift needs to be scheduled minimum 3 weeks ahead. If you are looking for more hours, we will oblige -but note this is a temporary position for now that could turn permanent due to future expansion in the area.
Hourly Rate: $55 - $60 per hour.
Schedule: Clinic is open Monday to Friday 8:30 -4:30. We are open to custom shifts for this role depending on your availability. I'm sorry, we cannot consider resident orthotists for this role.

Requirements
- Assess infant head, neck and basic gross motor function, conduct 3D scanning procedures, educate and discuss treatment options with families.
- Conduct structured follow-up evaluations.
- Independently manage some daily operations of the clinic such as preparing client scheduling, preparing clinical reports, update referrals and email correspondence
- Liaise with management to ensure best family care.
- Assist with Pharmacare Clients
- Work virtually with HeadStart Medical to design ROKband CRO's with proprietary software.
- Help continued training and guidance for other BC clinics.
- Must have the absolute highest of ethical standards
- Highly motivated with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Completion of an accredited Prosthetics and Orthotics program
- Active Certification as an Orthotist with Orthotics Prosthetics Canada
