This is not just a clinical role; we are looking for a dedicated Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to help lead our practice, participate in management, and eventually transition into a leadership or potential ownership role. Requirements
Clinical & Educational Foundation
Education & Certification: Must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Licensure: Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted state medical license.
Generalist Care: Ability to manage a broad range of ocular pathologies, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration.
Quality Assurance: Participation in medical peer reviews and clinical protocol development to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Technical & Administrative Skills:
EMR/EHR Proficiency: Extensive experience with systems like Mod Med or equivalent for accurate and compliant medical documentation.
Diagnostic Technology: Expert use of specialized equipment such as OCT scanners, visual fields, and fundus photography.
Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare standards
