Description

• Contracted in-person medico-legal assessments with a primary focus on medical negligence, workplace injury and public liability cases.
• Undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments including activities of daily living, home, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments.
• Highly autonomous role with support from experienced leader.
• Hybrid role- Option to work from home or in Surry Hills office.
• If working from home, you will be expected to have your own laptop/computer and equipment. If working from the office, desk top computers are available.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with AHPRA.
• Relevant industry experience including familiarity with insurance claim process, NDIS and FIM assessments. Previous experience in a medico-legal practice highly regarded.
• Superior report writing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .
• SIRA registration .
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Acceptance and willingness to appear if subpoenaed .
• Flexible and approachable.
• Full Australian work rights.
• Valid Australian driver’s license and vehicle
• National Police Check and Working With Children Check.

• Professional indemnity insurance must be obtained for this role.
