We are partnering with a global advisory firm with a strong presence across Asia, supporting financial institutions and investors on complex transactions, strategy, and transformation initiatives.

Based in Hong Kong, this team works across banks, insurers, asset managers, and private capital firms, delivering end-to-end support across the deal lifecycle-from strategy and due diligence through to post-deal execution and value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale M&A engagements across the full transaction lifecycle, including due diligence and post-deal integration or separation.
• Manage senior client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.
• Oversee project delivery, including planning, resourcing, budgets, and quality assurance.
• Drive business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, leading proposals, and expanding client accounts.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
• Ensure strong governance, risk management, and delivery standards across engagements.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated solutions and contribute to practice growth.

Requirements:

• 10-12+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy/development within financial services.
• Proven track record leading complex M&A or deals engagements.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
• Experience managing project economics, teams, and multi-stream delivery.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with data and AI-driven approaches is advantageous.
• Background in areas such as deal strategy, due diligence, post-merger integration, or growth strategy is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline; MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Mandarin or Cantonese language capability is beneficial.
