Director, M&A / Corporate Development

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced M&A professional to lead the execution of strategic acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and divestments across a diversified regional portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, you will work closely with business leaders to structure and execute transactions that support the Group's long-term growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end execution of acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures and divestments.
2. Evaluate investment opportunities, develop valuation models and recommend optimal transaction structures.
3. Lead financial, commercial and legal due diligence, working with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
4. Negotiate commercial terms and transaction documentation through to signing and completion.
5. Develop value creation and integration plans to support successful post-acquisition execution.
6. Partner with business leaders across multiple markets to deliver strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements

1. Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
2. Min 12-15 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development or Transaction Advisory.
3. Proven track record leading and closing cross-border M&A transactions.
4. Strong financial modelling, valuation and transaction structuring capabilities.
5. Experience managing complex negotiations and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
6. Regional transaction experience across Asia is highly preferred.
