- Director, Peter Beumont Eating Disorders Service
Description
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia, a teaching hospital of the University of Sydney, is advertising internationally for a medical/psychiatric Director of the Adult Eating Disorders Service, comprising statewide inpatient beds, a day program and outpatient services.
While the primary focus is to recruit a forward-thinking leader to guide and direct the service, it is hoped the successful candidate will also be research-oriented, or ideally research-engaged and experienced. There is significant opportunity to develop a research program, academic track record and professional standing within the Director role, supported by a conjoint appointment with the University of Sydney and partnerships with the InsideOut Institute at USYD.
Working in a limited private capacity alongside a public appointment is standard practice in Australia for supplementing income, and there are many Sydney-based opportunities available to do so.
