Description
Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the Public Fiduciary Office to ensure that goals and objectives of the Department are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Requirements
Plan, direct, and supervise the social, legal, and financial activities related to the administration of Public Fiduciary.
Coordinate and supervise all legal matters, including litigation, settlement negotiations, and oversight of legal counsel.
Provide oversight of all court appointed guardianships, conservatorships, decedent services, court ordered investigations, and probate administration.
Oversee the Public Fiduciary department’s budget in the areas of development, management, and forecasting of revenues and expenditures.
Plan, direct, and supervise the county’s responsibilities for Title 36 pre-petition screenings and court-ordered evaluations.
Analyze and resolve complex and/or highly sensitive issues.
Plan, direct, and supervise the county’s responsibility to provide for indigent burials.
Develop departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with fiduciary statutes and standards of practice.
Working closely with other jurisdictions and organizations on related issues to coordinate department activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
Manage, train, and schedule staff, monitor work and evaluate performance, explain rules, policies, and procedures, and meet regularly with staff to discuss and resolve priorities, workflow, special assignments, special projects, problems, schedules, cross-training, and client service issues.
