Enterprise Medical Director of Neurology

Prisma Health, headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, is seeking to recruit an exceptional physician leader to serve as its Enterprise Medical Director of Neurology. This senior leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of neurological care across one of the nation’s most innovative and rapidly growing health systems.

Reporting to the President of the Neurosciences Institute, the Enterprise Medical Director of Neurology serves as the systemwide clinical and strategic leader for neurology, responsible for advancing quality, integration, access, research, and innovation across all Prisma Health markets. The role carries enterprise responsibility for setting clinical standards, aligning care pathways, improving outcomes and the patient experience, and fostering cohesive, highperforming multidisciplinary teams across inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory settings.

A central focus of the position is driving growth and transformation through strategic planning, physician engagement, and strong collaboration with neurosurgery, neurocritical care, neuroradiology, rehabilitation, behavioral health, and operational partners. The role also provides enterprise leadership of neurology clinical research and clinical trials, with significant opportunity to expand research infrastructure, industry and academic collaboration, and participation in multicenter studies. Prisma Health maintains strong academic partnerships with institutions including the University of South Carolina, Clemson University, and Furman University.
