Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Louisiana Cancer Prevention and Control Programs (LCP) Evaluation Manager designs and directs data systems, feedback and assessment plans and tools, and evaluation plans for various LCP programs, and develops the dissemination plans of results. The manager administers the clinical and patient navigation data for a statewide cancer-screening program. She/he is the lead for data management, data analysis, and presenting and reporting findings, including key performance measures, in order to evaluate program outputs and outcomes. The role is essential for reporting to funders, which include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She/he also develops and oversees process, impact, and outcome, evaluation plans to assess other specific projects and overall program performance and specific public health initiatives (e.g. community-based projects, media campaigns). This position is supervised by LCP's Program Director or Assistant Director and will lead LCP's evaluation team. This position is eligible for remote work per Chancellor's Memorandum-73 and School of Public Health Policies.

Type of experience required to perform the job: full time experience in relevant field
Substitution: Either a Master's Degree with 3 or more years of experience or a PhD may substitute for the five years of professional experience.
