Qualifications
While a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, all applicants should process increasing responsibility in 911 operations. With a bachelor’s degree, the candidate should have 2 years management and 4 years of 911/public safety operational experience. Without said degree, requirements include 10 years operational and 4 years management experience. It is desirable that all applicants have broad experience in management, budget and finance, and human resources. While residency within the County is preferred, it is essential that the candidate be available for management duties during significant emergencies.

Salary and Benefits
Dependent on experience, the estimated salary range is $95,000 to $125,000.
